1. Roland Jazz Orchestra
LIVE: 3rd Masters Degree: Graduation Recital. Original, Contemporary, and
Traditional Big Band Works. Guest Artists:
Jessica Bachicha, soprano

2. Composition: feature for Ted Nash--Lincoln Center Jazz
Orchestra member and multi-award-winning artist--to be premiered March 9th in
the world famous concert venue, Jordan Hall.

3. Composition: feature for
jazz guitar legend Mike Stern to be premiered Spring '09.
4. Composition: for Darryl Harper (DMA candidate, New
England Conservatory) and internationally screened video artist Salem Mukuria to
be premiered March 2nd.
5. Recently returned from performances in France, Italy,
and Spain--private concerts for GMAC, with Paradise and Company.
6. Premiere of "Dream Corridor Suite" for string orchestra,
jazz orchestra and dramatic speaker --a collaboration with this year's winner of
the Jacob Knight award for poetry, Lea Deschenes(quantumredhead.com). Ms.
Deschenes will perform the speaking part! Premiere was on April 26th in Jordan
Hall.
7. NEC Jazztet will be at the Western Front on Feb. 16th.
8. Roland's fusion group, RJO, will be at the Western Front
on April 13th.
